Hi, My name is Frank Brown and I'm a college student at Auburn University Al. One year ago I had an accident in which I fell backwards onto the corner of a table causing a compression fracture on one of my upper vertebrae. Now if I sit down for more than 30 or 45 min. it feels like there is a hot needle sticking into my back where the fracture is and I do alot of sitting i.e. Class and Studying. I just don't know what to do b/c I'm 21 and I can't sit down for a while without being in pain. I have heard of some kind procedure but, I don't know if it would be smart to have a procedure done on my back at my age. Please give advice....
