Is it safe to downhill ski with a bulging lumbar disc?

I recently have had sciatica and got an MRI that showed Mild bulging disc L5-S1 with a very small midline herniation. Mild dessication and narrowing to L5-S1. Minimal bulge L4-5, neither bulge is impressing upon the thecal sac or narrowing the neural foramen.

I'm supposed to be going downhill skiing in a week and am wondering if it is safe for me to do this or if I am going to aggravate my condition or cause more problems for myself down the road by going. My pain is greatly reduced the past few days but I am definitely not 100% better. I'm a decent skier and would just be cruising down some easier slopes to spend time with friends and family. My risk of falling is pretty low but of course can't be excluded and also can't control what other skiers do. Any advice would be appreciated.
